Model Mania
(2017 Phase 1)
This model was designed using the 2017 Model Mania challenge. Given a set of drawings, the designer is tested on accuracy and time. I completed the drawing in 16:43 minutes out of the 20 minutes given, with 100% accuracy. The model had to be tested for a load of around 800 N, and my model had a safety factor well within the limits, with identical dimensions to the drawings. In order to run the stress simulation, a new concept at the time, I had to self-learn it during the 20 minutes to complete the simulation.
